If you love anything about Korea, whether is K-Pop, or K-Drama or you just love to visit Korea, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) office at Menara Hap Seng Kuala Lumpur is a must-visit for a true Korean lover!

There are many activities organized by the KTO for everyone, such as Korean language class, Korean cooking class, singing and dancing class, beauty workshop, and information and guide to Korean events (concerts, culture performances, movies).

For the cooking and language class, it is free for everyone. The cooking class conducted by KTO will be in English, usually by an experienced Korean chef so participants can be sure they will be taught to cook Korean food in the authentic method.

For the Korean language class, interested participants are required to register with the KTO early as participants will be divided into different groups and levels, a list of successful applicants will be shortlisted and their names will be published on the KTO website. Classes will be conducted over a semester of three months with stick attendance monitoring.

Saranghaeyo Korea Club

If you are a Korean enthusiast, love everything about Korea, and which to share with others all about Korea, you can consider joining the Saranghaeyo Korea Club. As a member, you will enjoy priority for culture classes organized by KTO, invites to exclusive events, promotion for KTO, and special offers at KTO-sponsored K-Pop concerts. To become a member, just walk into the KTO office at Menara Hap Seng, complete the registration form, and pay RM20 for a lifetime membership. Your membership will then be activated on the spot, as a new member you will receive some free merchandise.

As a Saranghaeyo Korea Club member, you will be able to collect points to stand a chance to win a free trip to Korea and members can enjoy discounts for purchases at Etude House and The Face Shop, selected Korean restaurants, and show performances.

Planning For the Korea Trip

At the KTO, there are many information brochures for visitors to take. For travelers that will be traveling to Korea soon, you can request the Korea Travel Guide booklet and Korea Tourist Map, these two will be a very helpful guide to travelers to plan their journey and to know more about Korea. There is also a large variety of Korean magazines and newspapers at the KTO for visitors to read, K-Pop magazines, and much more.

If you wish to see how you will look when dressed in a Hanbok, you can try it out here at the KTO and you can have your pictures taken also, just ask for assistance at the KTO. There are also displays of Korean musical instruments and pictures at the KTO for visitors to see and understand more about the culture of Korea.
